Classical mechanics: dynamics and equilibria of flexible bodies, geometric nonlinearities in solid and fluid mechanics, curve and surface motion, action principles, elasticity of thin objects, fluid-structure interaction, discontinuities and defects, nonlinear waves and oscillations, soft matter, materials science and processing.


On Friday, 2/17, at 4 PM there will be a BME Minor Information Session held in Hancock 100.
